FASHION FOR CHARITY TO BENEFIT THE GEORGIE BADIEL FOUNDATION

On Thursday September 8th 2016, starting at 7:00pm Prive Group, Hype, Star Vodka, and DEG Production present the seventh annual Fashion For Charity Runway Show to Benefit The Georgie Badiel Foundation. The event will be hosted by super model Georgie Badiel to support her foundation. The finest of NYC’s society will be gathering for an illustrious runway fashion event. The Gala will feature an array of upcoming NYC designers including the designs of Feret Campos New York (https://www.instagram.com/ferretcamposdesigns/).

The MC for the evening will be Charles Ferri from Esquire Network’s Lucky Bastards. There will also be an intermission with a live art show by Peace Simon. There will be a live performance that will feature Heidi Merrill, who has been labeled as the modern day Annie Lenox that meets Shania Twain with the influence of Pop, Country and rock fusion.

Tonight, celebrities from the worlds of fashion, film, sports, art, and music will gather at The Met for the Museum’s Costume Institute Benefit. This year’s gala celebrates the exhibition Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology, on view May 5–August 14, 2016.

We are excited to be invited by Joycie Mederick of Cinnamon Productions to cover the Hot Couture Fashion Show as well as shoot our legendary SwimWear Issue at the Sugar Beach Resort in St. Lucia.

This is the location that Matt Damon from Oceans 12 got married. George Clooney and the rest of the cast stayed.….DARLING…. and we are Over The Moon to be able to utilize this luxury resort.

Brown.  Allison will direct the SwimWear shoot and scout the ideal locations at the Sugar Beach.  Paul Walker, known for capturing that right photo at any event or runway show, will work closely with the models, getting that photo just right.   Dwight Eubanks, Styling Director for Fashion Avenue News magazine, will make sure everything comes together……FABULOUSLY…….

Editor-in-Chief, Sofia Davis will, of course, be Networking to build a Fashion Bridge between St. Lucia and New York City.  The goal is to develop Fashion Avenue News Magazine – St. Lucia, and we start with the SwimWear issue.

We look forward to a long term Fashion Relationship with the island of St. Lucia and Joycie Mederick of Cinnamon Productions.

Art Hearts Fashion Springs Forward into Los Angeles Fashion Week

(Los Angeles)—Art Hearts Fashion began an all-encompassing takeover of Los Angeles Fashion Week Monday night with an exceptional designer showcase to launch the week of events at the Taglyan Complex. Sponsored by the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, the premiere showcase featured Designers YAS Couture by Elie Madi, Sir Isaac Newton, Kentaro, Kate’s Couture, Jaime Elyse Couture, and Willfredo Gerardo. Opening night was attended by stars including: NFL Giants Player Myles White, Matt and Mark Harris of Storage Wars, Krista Keller Stodden of the Mother Daughter Project, Michelle Epps of Basketball Wives, Annie Ilonzeh of Empire, Host Amy Paffrath who walked for designer Jaime Elyse Couture, Renee Lawless, actresses Andrea Anders, Torri Anders, Tehmina Sunney, Vanessa Cloke, Phoebe Price, Mame Adje of ANTM, Drew Seeley and many more.

Opening the show was Lebanese line YAS Couture by Elie Madi. The collection brought a palate of gold and white to the runway featuring romantic busts and crowns. The elegance and ingenuity of the collection elicited cheers from the audience. Sir Isaac Newton introduced his Vine of New Orleans Collection, taking design to a higher level, with posh styled cuts, colors, and textures. Kentaro’s piercing and provocative collection of black and white pieces mesmerized the crowd. The innovative collection brought a somber and sophisticated edge to the runway.

Kate’s Couture combined timeless elegance with modern edge in her collection this season. Nearly all of the materials used for the collection are sourced from thrifted garments and end of the bolt fabrics. Jaime Elyse Couture took center stage with her collection inspired by the classic architecture of London, Paris, and New York. Strong necklines took this collection to the next level of classic, while pops of color and embellished belts maintained a high playful energy. Willfredo Gerardo closed the evening with a collection of embellished pieces defining feminine beauty. Plunging necklines on the gold and black designs embodied sensual strength and red carpet glamour.

FASHION AVENUE NEWS EDITORIAL SHOOT WITH Germany’s next Topmodel

Fashion Avenue News magazine, known globally for their coverage of worldwide fashion events, had the opportunity to shoot an editorial with Germany’s next Topmodel for their March 2016 issue.

The editorial team, led by Allison V. Brown, set everything up from the audition process, location scouting, designer selection and make up.  The editorial theme was “ACTION” and designer, Kenya Smith of Planet Zero Motorsport, featured a sizzling array of leather dresses, jumpsuits, topped off by matching helmets and gloves.  Working with celebrity Makeup Artists Lenny Hamilton and Melanie Santos, along with Avant Garde Hair stylists, Tiffany Brown, bought the entire look together.

Sofia Davis, Editor-in-Chief of the luxury, fashion brand, stated it was very hard to choose a one cover model, as all of the models did a very nice job.
