As I pull into Chelsea Piers, I’m excited about the event I’m going to cover, K.I.D.S. – Kids In Distressed Situations and Fashion Delivers Annual Gala Fundraiser. This organization has provided over $1 billion dollars in new products to help children. The host for the evening is the beautiful Vivica Fox. As the Honorees take to the red carpet, they include; Brendan Hoffman – President and CEO The Bon-Ton Stores, Daisy Fuentes Fashion Entrepreneur & TV Personality and Adrienne Bailon, just to name a few. Also gracing the red carpet are Board of Directors members Denise Durham Williams – President, Karen Bromley – Principal, The Bromley Group LLC and many more. All of these people work hard for a cause close to their hearts.
In floats the graceful Vivica Fox, she is stunning in a red Alexander McQueen long flowing gown with a thigh high split. She is simply elegant. As she takes to the red carpet, I announce loudly, “BEAUTIFUL” absolutely “FABULOUS”. I wave my mic toward the press agent, trying to get an interview with Ms. Fox. She walks my way and happily grants me the interview. She is a real SuperStar.
What a great evening for a wonderful cause.
