After pulling out her name from the upcoming fashion show New York Fashion Week (NYFW) just a fortnight ago, the 70-year-old American designer Betsey Johnson has changed her mind and decided to participate in the bi-annual event.
According to an official statement, the veteran will now be unveiling her latest affordable dress collection on February 11, 2013 at NYFW.
The exuberant designer, who voluntarily filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in 2012, is presently working on her debut reality programme titled ‘The Betsey and Lulu Show’, scheduled to be aired on Style Network, with her daughter Lulu Johnson.
Known for her whimsical and outlandish fashion creations, the sartorialist specializes in lingerie, outerwear and swimwear collections.
