Tom Ford, the famous American fashion designer, is all set to present his first-ever full-scale catwalk show featuring his latest autumn/winter 2013-14 collections, at the upcoming high-profile bi-annual fashion fest London Fashion Week (LFW), scheduled to start from 15th February 2013.
The 51-year-old designer, who till date preferred showing his collections at small private gatherings only, is going to stage a regular show with an expected attendance of nearly 500 to 1,000 people, including fashion media and bloggers, at LFW.
n alumnus of New York’s Parsons The New School for Design, Ford has recently showcased his latest menswear creations on the final day of London Collections: Men (LC: M).
His newly unveiled line at LC: M included neat and trim slim suit jacket lapels based on Daniel Craig’s wardrobe in Skyfall, elegantly cut and crafted three-piece plaid suits, fiery orange-colored jacquard blazers and short trousers.
Owning nearly 100 stores worldwide, the multi-talented designer is also a successful film director, who got an Oscar nomination for the 2009-released Hollywood movie ‘A Single Man’.
