Courtney Michelle Love, the famous American singer-songwriter, has forayed in the fashion world with her classic clothing line named ‘Never The Bride’ made of repurposed and revamped vintage pieces.
The unique re-worked vintage ensembles, reflecting the charms of a bygone era, were personally collected by Love during her tenure at the Paramount Pictures’ wardrobe department in the year 1983.
The 48-year-old singer’s grunge-meets-Victorian and Edwardian fashion apparels feature lace dresses, crinkled tops, tiered sheer skirts, bustled knickers and gothic-glamour backless gowns teamed with decorative 20’s-inspired headpieces and fishnet stockings.
These were showcased by a model on a behind-the-scenes shoot for Contributor magazine.
Each of the beading, chain and sequin embellished garments contain a personal signature and ruby from the designer.
